Lake Access:  Located off SR 60 on Blue Cypress Rd in Fellsmere

Lake Notes:  Average lake depth of 9 ft.  Home to the origin of the St. Johns River.  The name of Blue Cypress Lake comes from the blue appearance of the cypress trees as the morning sun's rays reflect off the water.

Lake Access:  CR 512 to Fellsmere. Turn right onto Broadway Street to Carolina Avenue. Turn left on 138th Avenue, then to the C-54 Canal. Before crossing C-54 Bridge turn left onto Fellsmere Grade Road to ramp.

Lake Notes:  Average depth of 8 ft.  Anglers find fish near stumps, submerged canals and hydrilla domes.  Known as one of the top 10 Bass fishing spots in Florida.  Plastic worms, spinnerbaits, crankbaits, soft jerkbaits, and topwater propeller baits are effective. Wild golden shiners are the top choice for anglers looking to catch a trophy fish.
