Tampa Bay is a large natural harbor along the Gulf of Mexico on the western coast of Florida, made up of Old Tampa Bay, Hillsborough Bay, McKay Bay, and New Tampa Bay. It is bounded by Manatee County on the south, Pinellas County on the west, and Hillsborough County on the east. Three prominent cities are located along the shores of the bay, Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Clearwater.
